Sooty black sky and incessant rain
Casting us in a hopeless pit
Pall of gloom hovering our head
Will we see the sun again?
Sweltering heat and morbid miasma
Hanging over us like curse of Cain
Making every moment a living hell
Will the God bless us again?
The constant fear of the raving eyes
The perpetual threat to our brittle honours
Resulting each second a crushing pain
Can we ever breathe free again?
But, there is a shining star coming to rescue
A dazzling light ripping the blackness
A resounding boom defeaning the madness
We will see the sun again.
